Australian Anglicans are involved in many areas of Australian life. Anglican Schools
teach approximately 100,000 students (1997 research report). Anglicare, a network
of Anglican welfare agencies in every state in Australia provides services to the
aged, children and families, youth, migrants etc. Anglican mission agencies work
with people both in Australia and overseas (see ABM, BCA, CMS, Church Army). Anglican
chaplains work within schools, hospitals, prisons, and industry.
