Prayers for an Election Campaign released (15 Oct 2007). The Liturgy Commission has released a liturgical resource for churches for use during the 2007 campaign.
Resources for Children (Dec 2007). The Liturgy Commission has released a Holy Communion service for use when children are present. This version is based on the Second Order Holy Communion service from A Prayer Book for Australia. The language, as well as being direct, primarily employing verbs and nouns and avoiding subordinate clauses, draws on the scriptural theme of ‘shepherd’.

Responses to the Tsunami - 26 Dec 2004
The Liturgy Commission made available a prayer service, resources and guidance, particularly for this day or in any inter-faith commemoration, in response to the official day of mourning for all those affected by the tsunami that was called for Sunday, January 16 by the Prime Minister, Mr John Howard.
A variety of prayers written by Australian Anglicans in this time of shock, sorrow and questioning are also available below. Other helpful resources may be found on the National Council of Churches Australia website.
Anglicans across Australia and the global Communion responded generously to the unprecedented natural disaster that struck many nations across South and South East Asia, only a day after the celebration of Christmas.
The Primate and Archbishop of Perth, Dr Peter Carnley, launched an Appeal among Anglican parishes in the Diocese of Perth for the victims of the devastating tsunamis affecting communities in much of south-east Asia. He has urged all Anglicans to contribute generously to collections following services next Sunday and on Sundays throughout January.
For a good resource for coverage on responses to the disaster, see the Anglican Media Melbourne website.

Environment
During 2004 and 2005, the Liturgy Commission gave particular attention to the development of resources concerned with the environment. A range of these resources are presented below. The Commission believed that it was important that prayer should not be used to support any particular ideology. It recognised that a deeper appreciation of the breadth of Scripture related to the topic, as well as traditional resources such as Rogation, and resources developed more recently by other Christian traditions was needed.
