At General Synod a wide variety of decisions affecting all sorts of
different areas are made. General Synod's official decisions are recorded in
the Resolutions and Canons that are passed. People are also elected to
various positions on General Synod bodies and groups such as the Standing
Committee. At the beginning of each day of General Synod, members have the
opportunity to ask questions of the Chair. These may be answered
immediately, or a more extensive answer prepared and provided the following
day.
